Adding and editing comments
You may add comments to any document or tag. With the correct permission, you can also edit the comments of others. Comments are limited to 2000 characters.
To add a comment:
- In the results list of any view, select the document or object for which you want to add a comment.
- In the Review ribbon, click Comments. The list of comments for the selected item appears with the latest comments at the bottom of the list.
- Type your comment in the text box and click SUBMIT. Your comment appears at the bottom of the list of comments.
To edit a comment:
- View the comment as described in the preceding task
- In the comment toolbar, click the Edit icon
. The comment text appears in the text box.
- Edit the text and then click UPDATE. The comment changes are saved.
To close a comment:
- View the comment as described in the task at the beginning of this topic.
- In the comment toolbar, click the Close icon
. A confirmation dialog box appears.
- Click YES. The comment is hidden.
To delete a comment:
- View the comment as described in the task at the beginning of this topic.
- In the comment toolbar, click the Delete comment icon
. A confirmation dialog box appears.
- Click YES. The comment is deleted.
